Reflection 1st Six Weeks

When you look back on the first six weeks in Spanish class, are your thoughts positive or negative? Why?

When I look back on the first six weeks in Spanish class, my thoughts are generally positive. I understood most if not all of the material and really liked the language as I did in Spanish I. It is a very interesting language and I hope to learn more of it.

What went well for you in Spanish class during the first six weeks?

I could really understand the way that the grammatical structure was used. Even though I didn’t have a huge arsenal of Spanish words in my brain, I still liked how the words were said and could learn how to say them pretty easily.

What was your favorite thing we did in class during the first six weeks? What was your least favorite?

I really liked the “games” we played with the ball. Only problem is that we don’t play like a real game. My least favorite moment in Spanish class is when we have to take a test.

What grade did you earn during the first six weeks in Spanish and why?

I earned a 97 because I did most of my work and tried really hard to do it correctly. I think I could have earned a hundred had I went to tutorials.

Reflection 2nd Six Weeks

When you look back on the second six weeks in Spanish class, are your thoughts positive or negative? Why?

My thoughts are positive because I think I did well. I learned a lot, especially about irregular preterit verbs and I got a decent grade.

What went well for you in Spanish class during the second six weeks?

I think that I learned how to differentiate between past and present tense verb conjugations. I was less confused as the six weeks went by and I liked working with more than one tense.

What was your favorite thing we did in class during the second six weeks? What was your least favorite?

We played a game type thing with the ball. I hope we do that more often, it was really fun.

What grade did you earn during the second six weeks in Spanish and why?

I “earned” a 96. I earned this because I turned in my work on time and stayed on task and did all the right things.

Reflection 3rd Six Weeks

When you look back on the third six weeks in Spanish class, are your thoughts positive or negative? Why?

It was positive. I worked hard and got an “A.” I also made sure to turn in all missing assignments.

What went well for you in Spanish class during the third six weeks?

I understood most, if not all the material, that we were taught in class. Spanish was not too difficult even if we had to switch between two tenses.

What was your favorite thing we did in class during the third six weeks? What was your least favorite?

My favorite thing that we did in class was the games that we played in the lab for the Daily activity. My least favorite was writing the 2 paragraphs.

What grade did you earn during the third six weeks in Spanish and why?

I earned a 96 because I understood what I was taught. I also made sure to turn in my missing assignments.

Reflection 4th Six Weeks

When you look back on the fourth six weeks in Spanish class, are your thoughts positive or negative? Why?

My thoughts are positive over the fourth six weeks in Spanish class because I got a lot of my work done, got a high A and learned a lot in both the past and imperfect tense.

What went well for you in Spanish class during the fourth six weeks?

I think that I was able to distinguish between the preterito tenses and imperfect tenses. I also did reasonably well on the first exam without my notes. I think this shows my preparation and learning in the class despite my lack of a good work habit.

What was your favorite thing we did in class during the fourth six weeks? What was your least favorite?

I think my favorite thing we did was the speaking test with our old toys. I think it brought back a lot of memories and it was fun describing myself.

What grade did you earn during the fourth six weeks in Spanish and why?

I earned a 96 because I understood the material and was able to keep a clear focus despite having to handle different tenses. I thought I could have done better though, had I worked harder in getting assignments turned in on time.
